We can't believe that the summer is coming to an end; with the fall comes all of the activity and we are going to be busy little dancers.
Up first......We are participating again in the Town of Ossining - Mind, Body, Spirit series on Sunday, September 4th.

Sunday Oct. 23rd: Tava is pleased to host DC-based dancer Elena Faye for a workshop and master class, 2-4:15 and 4:30-5:30 at Dance Dimensions, 15 Cross St., Norwalk (CT).

2-4:15: Old is Gold: Vintage Oriental Styling (Choreography) | Discover the soft, feminine style of Cairo’s “Golden Era” of Oriental Dance. Learn to channel Samia’s grace, Tahiya’s earthiness & Naima’s showmanship through movements and stylizations typical of the period. We’ll break down technique details and then put them together into three combinations. $55

4:30-5:30: Persian Possibilities| Learn how to achieve the elegant lines and weightless quality of Classical Persian Dance. While Oriental style emphasizes earthiness and hipwork, Persian Classical dance revolves around flowing arms, expressive hands, whirling turns, and sweeping traveling steps. Push your Oriental dance to the next level by cross-training in this highly complimentary style that will add grace and elegance to your dance. $30

Troupes and Tribes


This different and unique showcase features only Cabaret Troupes and Fusion or Tribal Troupes. It's open to only groups of 2 or more dancers. No solos performances will be done!
